Retro Classics

This collection was inspired by looking back at American retro underwear. Typically made in 1x1 rib before elastic was used, I wanted to create a program with a rib instead of the usual cotton elastane. Alongside this, the design inspiration for the company was 'retro sports’ so I looked at old tennis imagery as inspiration for the high apex triangle as well as the poppers on the racerback bralette and shorty. Finally, the Tommy DNA came in the form of a striped elastic stitched at the neckline and legs of the garments, and of course, the Tommy Flag. Additionally, to add some innovation, the rib was finished with a Biome antibacterial finish and the waistband is a tencel quality.
